Eden project in England

Opened in 2001, the Eden Project in Cornwall, England is a multiple green house complex and the threshold of the fascinating world of plants. It consists of artificial bio-domes that house plants from all over the world. These domes are made of numerous inflated plastic cells on steel frames. The dome replicating tropical climate measures 180 ft high, 328 ft wide, and 656 ft long and houses many tropical plants. Another dome simulating Mediterranean climate has an area of 1.6 acres and is the place for the warm temperate and arid plants. This project contains many medicinal plants and includes environmental programs.
