Moroccan goats climbing Argan trees

Italian photographer Maurizio Punturi has photographed goats climbing argan trees in search of their food. Using their cloven hooves for gripping the branches the goats can easily climb up or down the tree. In one of the photos Maurizio captured eleven adult goats on a thirty feet high argan tree searching for their favorite argan fruits. Although, at first it seemed weird, this is a very common sight in morocco. These goats are really threatening the foreign exchange earning of the country by exporting argan oil. As the farmers buy more goats they eat more leaves and fruits of the tree.
